"This is the coolest tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. The design of the place is a nice mix between modern and minimalist. There’s so much space (and snacks/drinks) in the waiting area! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. My experience with Basil was 11/10. She is a creative genius and incorporated all my rough ideas into the perfect piece. She was very receptive to my feedback and made sure I was happy with every aspect through multiple revisions. The way she uses color to create vibrant tattoos in small, but still extremely detailed pieces, is extraordinary. Would recommend to anyone looking for their first or next tattoo!"

"Very comfortable and relaxing place to get a tattoo. Staffs are friendly and professional. Downstairs is confirmed to have a big variety of drinks and snacks. I did a full day session with Jay Shin. Jay was great! Probably the most talented artist I’ve worked with. Gentle and steady hands. His work is very detailed and thoughtful with placement. The session went by surprisingly fast and not as painful as I thought. The tattoos healed well as well! Definitely coming back."

"Bang Bang is one of the best tattoo shops I've ever visited for a piece. Their SoHo shop is unassuming from the outside but the interior is a perfect execution of a high end, minimal, modern once you step past the front doors. The studio has a comfortable lounge where you can relax and meet with your artist before the actual inking session, with a great variety of drinks and snacks on hand. My session with Pavel was nothing short of extraordinary. Pavel is a gentle, empathetic human being who drafted designs to nail down what I was looking for during my visit. He was gracious and accommodating, working in details that I requested and ultimately, creating a piece that I have waiting to get with him for nearly four years. If this is your first time getting a tattoo and you're looking at Bang Bang, congratulations. You'll get an amazing piece here with almost any of the artists on the roster. Granted the prices here are not cheap, but I don't think anyone should ever consider getting a permanent piece on your body at a value/discount. You get what you pay for. If this isn't your first rodeo, you'll be pleasant surprised at a high quality experience at Bang Bang. All in all I can't say enough good things about Pavel's worth, professionalism, and the facilities at Bang Bang Grand. I'm just two days out from my session and already dreaming of coming back to get another piece with Pavel. Don't hesitate at getting your work done here that will last you a lifetime."
