"Unfortunately I had a horrible experience today. Nail tech was incredibly rude and unaccommodating. I told her I did NOT want 3 coats and she refused to do so. Left paying $85 BEFORE TIP and absolutely hate my nails."

"Worst manicure I've ever had. Gel manicure started chipping and polish came off 2 nails completely within 3 days. I've been getting gel done for years (at other salons) and they've always lasted at least a week, normally 2+ weeks without chipping. Incredibly disappointed especially since I spent over $50 for the service."

"Place can be hit or miss depending on the tech you get hence the reason for such mixed reviews. I’ve been coming for around 3 years and have tried so many different ladies and have had some great and not so great experiences. For anything hands especially gel x extensions Vicki and Maggie are awesome. Suki is also good at gel x and very very good at pedicures. I’ve been cut by some of the newer girls I don’t remember their names but if you go to any that I mentioned (especially during non busy hours) you should have a great experience. Also I wouldn’t recommend letting them use the cheese grater thing on your feet for callous removal, they don’t clean it between clients. Saw residue from another pedicure on it when they tried to use it on me and I politely declined. Other than that I do love this place and although a little pricey it’s definitely one of the better salons in the neighborhood."

"I used to enjoy coming here every two weeks to do my French manicure and regular pedicure with Linda and sometime with Lena. The service used to be great and I always feel very welcome. However, the last two times when I was there to have my French manicure and pedicure with Lena and just last Wednesday with Linda, the manicure and pedicure didn’t last for more than 3 days. I’m very disappointed as the paint on the nails and toes nails chipped away too quickly. The line on the French manicure are not even either. After coming here for almost two years now, I will not be going back after this time. The services and quality have decreased dramatically especially since I’m a regular customer as well. Disappointed!"

"Truly my favorite nail salon ever. I’ve had manicures and pedicures and gel-x here and it’s all been of the best quality for a great price in a soothing environment. I’ve never felt rushed, and I always leave so happy with my nails. I never leave reviews but they really are the best — I moved to another borough and still come back to REE."
