"I’ve been coming to cozy nails for 10 years or so. It has been my go to nail salon in Ridgewood. My daughter started doing her nails here too. We both love it and always have a good experience. The place is clean and very well kept. Nothing fancy but good mani/pedi. They are “by appointment only”, you can’t just walk in. I believe a lot of places started doing in after/during Covid. I would recommend Cozy Nails."

"I'm terribly disappointed at my experience with this business today and am sad to say that they lost me as a customer forever. I came in today for a 6pm pedicure appointment. A few minutes after coming in while browsing for a polish, the owner rudely asked me "What are you doing here?". Appalled at the way she'd asked, I said "I'm here for my 6pm pedi". She let out a half scoff half laugh, shook her head, and said "No you're not". Then she looked away and kept on buffing another lady's nails. By this point, I'm growing uncomfortable and offended at how she's communicating with me, but I managed to keep my cool and just said, "What do you mean?". She said, while still looking away from me, "You never called to make an appointment and I never spoke to you". While this is happening, a lady that was getting her nails with another technician shot me a brief look of disbelief. As if to say "How are you going to respond to this?!". I let myself out of the shop before I lost my cool and gave her a piece of my mind about how you need to treat your customers. What a shame. I'm still in disbelief at the entire exchange because I frequented them often. I'll spend my money elsewhere where they understand the value and proper treatment of a customer."
