Shalom Fanwood Nails

"This used to be my favorite local nail salon but over the past year the quality has totally declined. The biggest problem is that they completely overbook themselves- so you will make an appointment at two and then go in and sit there for 45 minutes until someone can take you. Meanwhile, the water in the pedicure bowl is getting freezing cold. The second problem is the constant turnover so whenever you have someone good doing your nails, they most likely won’t be there for your next appointment. The last appointment I made was for a gel fill and simple French manicure. The woman they put me with did not know how to do gel fills so I had to wait for someone else to open up. And the two nail technicians then sat talking about me in Spanish, and were very surprised when I knew what they were saying! The woman who finally did my nails went on to talk on her cell the entire time and gave me a terrible sloppy manicure that started chipping two days later. I hate to write a bad review about a local business but I don’t want anyone else to waste their money here on bad service and terrible manicures."

"I have gone to Shalom Neil’s for a long time. I went for a pedicure today which was fine. My gel manicure was done by a most unpleasant woman who did a very quick and sloppy job. She never looked at me or answered a question about color as she raced through the manicure. I won’t go back."

"Beyond disappointed. I have been coming here for years. 10+ to be exact. I love the time they put in and have recommended them to so many who come now too. When I first started this was a five star establishment. The owner recently sold to another person. They don't take seriously or value your time! Waited 30 minutes after appointment to get a gel manicure and my poor ten year old didn't get started until 45 minutes after her appointment time. Not only is time not valuable, they slacked on the lotion and scrub they use. They use regular soap now as seen in picture."
