"Great haircut spot with two very warm and welcoming barbers. Sam and Oxana (may have misspelled that) are always a pleasure to see. Great price too."
"Sam was one of the best hairstylists I’ve ever been to in the city. So personable and lovely. He spent a good amount of time and attention on my haircut while accommodating any changes I wanted to make. All for an extremely affordable rate that is hard to beat. Please support Sam’s business and help a small business thrive!"
"I cannot recommend this place. Sufficient if you want a basic buzz cut but zero skill with longer hair. Will never go back"
"Ok my first time there and Oksana ( I hope I spelled that right?) cut my hair. Actually, I wanted the gentleman to cut my hair because I was getting a skin fade. His seat was taken so I asked Oksana ‘ can you fade?’ She said ‘yeah’ I said ‘for real’ she was like ‘yeah’ so I sat down and got one of the best skin fades I had for long time. She did a great job and I will be going back!"
"After reading so many amazing reviews of this place, I knew I had to go since I just moved to NYC and was looking for a new barber. Sam was with another client, so I had some Russian women cut my hair. TLDR, my haircut, while not bad, wasn’t great. She didn’t really listen to what I wanted. I said just a minor trim. She cut it short. I said clippers on the side. She used scissors for everything. Sam seemed amazing with great customer service, my lady was ehh. Sam gave the whole hot towel and straight razor for the neckline complimentary. It wasn’t even offered for me. The weirdest part was that while I heard Sam quote his customer $30/$35, my barber charged me $40. Overall, my experience was subpar. However, if you get Sam, I’m sure it will be a 5 star experience."
