"After ordering online a few times and enjoying the food, I decided to stop by the restaurant for a sit-down dinner with my mother. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with music playing at a comfortable level (I was able to hold a conversation without yelling) and TV monitors playing different shows/sports. The staff was attentive, bilingual, and friendly. The space is dimly lit with colorful lights, which can make it a little difficult to make out the menu and check out the decor but that's not really a negative for me. We received our drinks and food in a timely manner and everything tasted great. We shared veggie nacchos, then I ordered the fish tacos and my mother had Shrimp a la Mexicana. My tacos were tasty but O was full from the nachos so I could only finish one. Turns out it was probably a good thing because my lips and throat started to itch after eating the taco. I'm allergic to shrimp and figured there could have been some cross contamination with the fish. However, I never mentioned my allergy to the restaurant (I usually just avoid ordering shrimp and it's fine) so I don't fault them. I'm including it in my review to remind others to inform the restaurant about any food allergies before ordering. I appreciate that it's an authentic Mexican restaurant and think it's important to support local businesses. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return."
