"I absolutely love this place! The food is incredibly delicious, especially the freshly made Levanta Muerto soup with homemade corn tortillas, It is absolutely divine. The enchiladas en salsa verde are the best I've ever tasted in New Jersey. We also got a home style dinner and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything is fantastic. It has quickly become my favorite place to eat. This is an authentic Mexican fonda so if you’re looking for fine dinning is not your place but if you don’t mind Fonda style then this is your place because the food is so delicious and can’t beat those prices. By the way there is 2 fondas in one, the seafood side and the taqueria side. The ladies are friendly and welcoming is like you are at your tia’s casa, We can’t wait to go back!"
"We were in the area and found this gem of a restaurant. It was the middle of the afternoon and we were the only people there at the time. The owner (Roberto) was busy fixing something and we kind of surprised him. He had considered closing for the day because his waitresses were off for the day but he (lucky for us) decided to stay open. He then made us feel so welcomed and he described some things he could make for us and we trusted he would come out with something good. Well, we were so happy with the genuine Mexican dishes he made for us. It was more than we could eat and it was so good. You can tell he put a lot of care into his creation. We had various kinds of meats in tacos and quesadillas prepared in different sauces. The seafood bisque like soup was full of different fishes and so tasty. The guacamole was the best I’ve had. Cactus, big sautéed scallions, radishes, pineapple... it was all so good. I will make a special trip here(45 minute drive) for this authentic Mexican food and super service."
"Quality of food and service it is excellent, except that wait time for food is long. I would suggest calling ahead to place an order for pickup. Also, double check pricing of each food item because prices are not up to date on website or in store menu. Cash only!"
"Great tacos, so I've reviewed this before and I felt the need to re write it. I'm here now and let me tell you it's still the best tacos place ever, I just tried a soup that would blow your mind. Ask for "Levanta Muerto" soup. You will not regret it."
"Love ordering from this place, burritos are my favorite. They also sell tamales every morning."
