"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP. They first sent the wrong tech suit color knowing that the one they listed on the web site was wrong. Then after I returned the suit (now they have it for 2 weeks now), they still did not issue a refund even after I called then a week ago. When I called a week ago, I asked them to call m back with a status when it is refunded. They did not call me. Now they say that their refund person is on vacation. They will not give me the number to the person who issues the refund and he is the manager. I will be filing a formal complain through my credit card company tomorrow if I don't get the refund issued tomorrow. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF IT WAS AVAILABLE."
"The absolute worst customer service on the planet. They came to our YMCA but didn't have the fins my son needed so ordered and paid for them in advance. They sent the wrong size. When I contacted them I was told to return them with a note. So I spent another $11 on shipping and sent them back. Two weeks later, I called and apparently nothing had been done to send the proper size. I too, was told that they had to email the shop. I received an email asking what type of fins I wanted and when I called to confirm the info I provided, the women gave me a big audible annoyed sigh and then told me the employee I had asked to speak with had left for the day, it was 4:20. I will never buy another thing from this company and neither should you."
"Goggle hunting for my 6 year old is typically a nightmare. Luckily we found this shop with a lovely saleswoman that knows her products. We were able to try the goggles on in the store which is not as commonplace anymore. Thank you, we will be back soon!"
"This is one of those times I wish I could give zero or negative stars. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I ordered a suit and apparently by the time they processed my order they didn't have it in stock. What would a competent company do? Cancel the order. What did they do? Send me a completely different suit that I didn't want. Which was an awesome surprise because I had to scramble to get a replacement for my vacation because they also took forever and a day to ship it. Story doesn't end there though. I called and told the customer service guy what happened and he did everything he could to try to get me to keep this suit I didn't order. His exact words were "well don't you want to keep it?" No bro, I ordered something totally different. So I send it back and time passes and I don't have a refund so I have to call again. This time the customer service dude (apparently there is one person doing customer service for them and he is terrible at his job) doesn't do anything but supposedly email "the back" to see why I haven't been refunded even though the suit was returned and promised someone would call or email me. Of course that didn't happen so I had to open a dispute with my credit card company to get a credit back for my purchase. Now, FOUR MONTHS later it's resolved, but not because anyone at Metro Swim Shop had done one single thing right. I'm just glad my credit card company has my back or I'd still be calling them trying to get my money back. Worst company I've ever dealt with in my life."
"Would give them a zero if I could. I mistakenly placed an order and emailed them immediately for it to be cancelled (I was trying to enter a promo code and hit place order by accident. So no promo code was applied & I was just pricing tech suits at that point.) I followed up with three additional emails - none have been returned and it’s been two weeks. I searched & found a phone number (quite hidden on their website) and reached what sounds like a third party answering service during regular business hours. She said she’d ask them to email me a free return label. No label was sent to my email or junk folder. Called again now a week later and was told she’d remind them. Worst customer service ever. Now I’ve had a tech suit on my credit card for two weeks and counting with no resolution. Yes, I can pay to return it but the principle of it is they can’t bother to reply to an email inquiry or follow through with answering service messages. I will not ever order from them again. They don’t answer phone or emails and clearly couldn’t care less about their customers. Now they have one less customer for sure."
