"Michelle, thank you very much for addressing my concerns and for your prompt communication. **1st response to owner** Her name is Joana Rigol and she definitely works/worked for BLACKBIRD located on Main Street in Beacon, NY. She was literally just posted on your Instagram page on September 20, 2022. She was very rude when operating the store, which was not appreciated. Also, my review is anonymous to protect my identity, and I have sent two emails within the past two weeks regarding a payout check and STILL have not had any contact from the shop. I’ll send a third email tomorrow and we’ll see how that goes… Original Posting: Not a customer service-based business for sure. “Joana” was working when I came in with clothes to consign; I had a box in my hands and I walked up towards the desk as she was steaming clothes, looked at me, and just turned her face. Eventually, bothered, she finally barked, “CAN I HELP YOU?” Yeah, I’ll pick a different shop to partner with. I’ve had items lost, damaged, and payouts never sent… No thanks."

"Beautiful shop. Was beyond excited to check it out. Not a place to find things if you're plus sized. If you're not plus sized though I'm sure you'd love it. They have a "L-1x" section that was slim. As were the clothes in it."
