Reviews
"Incorrect hours or late to open. Came here at 11:35 and the lights were off and door locked. I check their IG to see if there was an emergency/update on store hours but there was nothing. (Updated based on business response. Hope to come back next time when they are open on my next trip to NYC!)"
"Super well-organized and a great selection of fun items! Bought a jacket here that I can’t wait to wear all fall."
"Very quiet store. Shirts and dresses are organized by color, which makes browsing easy. Selection of men’s and women’s vintage clothes at very reasonable prices; got a leather jacket for $90 and a sleeveless shirt for $22. Do remember to check the condition of the items though; the store is not well lit, and I didn’t notice the items I got were each missing one button until I got home. Overall pleasant shopping experience, definitely recommend."
"The neatest vintage/thrift store I’ve ever been to. Not complicated finding anything. Everything is color coordinated, jacket are with jackets, pants are with pants, you can shop by color if you want. I mean it doesn’t get any better than that. The workers are managing this store extremely well. I hate shopping where things are misplaced. Love this place."
"This place is incredible. I literally walked by it assuming it was another expensive Williamsburg shop. I was so wrong. I got welcomed when I stepped in anxiously, and instantly put at ease when an employee there (let's pause to say, in his cute outfit and my "they/them" hat, it was clear we were both queer and there for it) picked out a few pieces to think about. I grabbed five things off the men's rack and the women's rack (not labeled, thankfully) including some loud items that wouldn't pass for straight for a second. Then I realized they were $15-20 each. For legitimately nice vintage clothes that pushed boundaries a bit, with loud prints, bright colors, shine, sequins, mesh, glitter, shoulder pads, and so much fun. On my body they weren't women's clothing, they were just clothing. The store owner's eye for quality and ability to tell what has gone from old to being at the front of Non-Binary, Genderqueer fashion is on point. I love this place now, and so badly want to see it do well. The attitude that The Attic brings from the moment you walk in is an attitude that is out to change the world, one petite grandma blouse turned crop top at a time."
