"We love coming here for a low key dinner date in the neighborhood. Everything about it is pleasant. The owners and staff are lovely, the food is authentic and perfectly seasoned. Ingredients are fresh and well paired. I’m gluten free and have never felt like there were compromises made on quality or execution. They don’t carry gluten free bread, but are very willing to make small adjustments to accommodate dishes here and there. I’m definitely a fan."
"The whole experience was absolutely phenomenal. I went for lunch and enjoyed every bite. Great comfort food. Super nice and attentive staff. I can’t wait to return for dinner!"
"Hadn't been here in probably 6 years, and I'm happy to report they haven't lost their touch. Henri is a true restaurateur and host. Not sure if he's the proprietor, but he was definitely in charge of delivering a delightful experience."
"If I could give this place a negative infinite stars, I would! This place epitomizes why tipping doesn’t really exist in Europe. The staff barely speaks English properly but they were proficiently at giving an abrasive attitude pathetically thinking that they were some French aristocrats, especially the lady who might have been a manger who was the biggest culprit of all. Why? Because the fries were burned, and she had the audacity to say that’s how they’re supposed to be. In hindsight, I should have dared her to try one because you couldn’t even eat the fries that tasted like charcoal ashes. If she had any brain in food service, you would just take the item back and remake it. And reading the reviews now, unequivocally I’m not the only one who is complaining about burned food, which can be carcinogenic, but, of course, for an imbecile incompetence like her and the people who worked here have no clue about health hazard. Other complaints have been they only accept CASH or AMEX. Seriously? They better update to contemporary 21st century. The other positive reviews are likely paid, fake, or familial. Don’t be deceived in by the classy French interior. This is a hell hole to be avoided."
"Yeah this is some quality French. I passed by this spot too many times and I’m sorry it took so long. We got the steak & fries & some French onion soup. Food came out quick. The mayo & ketchup tasted like they make it in the back. The steak we got medium but it was a French medium which was a lil rare which is how I like it. Totally going back. Thanks tournesol !"
