"I just love Fred Stepkin! He is far and away the best hair-cutter-stylist I have ever had, and I am very choosy about my hair-cutters. In 2017 I moved to New York City from the Boston area where I had an excellent hair-cutter-stylist, found Fred's name and have been his client ever since. Before going to him I tried another person who charged far more than Fred and did a haircut that I found inferior. My hair is very thick, curly, and grows very fast. From the first day of my hair-cut/styling, my hair looks superb and it keeps on looking that way for as long as two months. When it begins to grow out, the styling simply "adapts," as it were, to the growth. I get many compliments about Fred's haircuts. Fred is also a terrific person -- courteous, kind, professional to the core. He is also - quite a bonus - very fit and has shared tips about exercise with me. His price is exceptionally reasonable as New York standards go. He has decades of experience and is really an artist."
