"Ann was great with my daughters.. have their hair looking healthy all over again.. both of my girls were very much satisfied.."
"****Update*** Laurie has been doing my hair, which includes root touch ups, highlights, cutting, shaping, styling for over 25 years. I am always happy with her services. She is a true professional and takes her time to listen to my requests. ***Always a pleasure. Laurie is a true professional and always does excellent work!! Another great color!! Clean, organized, and well equipped shop. Love the sink neck cushions, makes for comfortable washes and rinse outs. They listen to their clients."
"First let me say I do not give much credence to positive reviews because they can be purchased (to be clear - I am not saying this company does that). I read company's negative reviews because that is when the real issues come to light and no one would pay for a negative review. That being said, this is my personal experience. Get your price in writing BEFORE having work done (Laurie). My first visit as a new client on 4/4 was for a full foil highlight, wash, cut, and blow dry and the cost was $150 (after being quoted at the time of scheduling of $95, by Cathy). Laurie commented how easy it will be to upkeep with just a few root touch ups occasionally and be quicker and much cheaper going forward. As recommended, I then scheduled 8 weeks out (5/30) for a highlight root touch up and when I arrived, I was given another haircut and thinning that I was not scheduled for and charged $50, but no root touch up took place which was the reason for scheduling. As recommended, I then scheduled root touch up in 4 more weeks on 6/30. One bowl of chemical was used vs. 2 bowls at first appt. Less than half the foils were used vs. the first appt. because I had much less hair after having it thinned out just a few weeks prior. I felt the stylist was unhappy due to her remarks that I had let my hair dry naturally before my appointment and the curls underneath had left knots, which she did NOT comb out on this visit and asked me "did you really brush your hair today?". On 6/30 there was no cut, no blow dry; drastically different than my first appointment on 4/4 and receiving far less foils. I was shocked when she told me at the end it would be $150 the exact same amount as all the work done on 4/4! How can that be possible? I was clearly confused, unhappy, and unwilling to be overcharged so she changed it to $120, which I felt was overly excessive for what I had done. In a phone call hours later, she told me the prices had gone up and I asked where that was published....there was no response because it hadn't been. I should also mention that I had to wait 15+ minutes for my appointment and felt rushed after my hair had been washed and while I was sitting in the chair because a male came in and was unwilling to wait for her to finish with my appointment. He walked out and she ran out the door after him as she was apologizing "I'm so sorry I forgot". Prior to that incident, I was left under the dryer (for foil activation) after the timer stopped because she was relaxing in the one of the wash station chairs talking on her cell phone discussing dinner plans and wasn't paying attention. I had to get up and notify her it had gone off several minutes prior and to move on with my appointment. I also don't feel it is acceptable to keep stopping while a client is in a chair to constantly be on a cell phone (or chit chat with friends who stop in) for personal matters. The appointment just could not have gone much worse, in my opinion. I left upset and very unhappy, and wanting to get home to get my thoughts, receipts, and details together. When I texted her to call me to discuss it, she got defensive and was unwilling to work the matter out. I asked to speak to Kim (owner/mgr.) and was told she was "not in today" but I saw her working with clients in her chair, just a couple hours previous. This is not how a new client (or any client) should be treated!"
"The Salon was impeccably clean and everyone was so kind and friendly between 3 beauticians there was over 50 years of experience. Kim was terrific I have never had really short hair and she did the perfect short cut. Thanks Kim and Hair Sense"
