"Do not bring your vehicle to this location they are scammers. Brought my sons car there to have the clutch looked at. With out my permission, they also did a diagnostic on the transmission and then charge me two hours of labor to have the transmission looked at without my knowledge besides the one hour of diagnostic for the clutch. Then, when I decided not to have the transmission fixed, they would not give me a proper diagnostic report. Very dishonest."

"I highly recommend the Cream Ridge Aamco if you don’t expect your car to be repaired in less than a year and until it‘s repaired you want to spend lots of money on public transportation, car rentals and rely on friends and neighbors for your transportation needs. Otherwise, GO ELSEWHERE. They greatly lack any professional responsibility or integrity. After driving our car to the Cream Ridge Aamco for a “noisy engine,” it was over a year that we finally made arrangements to have our car transported to another shop for repairs since it was inoperable. That is correct, it was operable when we took it to them, but wasn’t when it was given back to us. During the interim that it was at Aamco, we heard many, many excuses why they couldn’t get it repaired from, “we can’t figure out the problem, we don’t have the part, we can’t find the part, we are short staffed, we’re sending it to another shop for repairs, we put in a replacement motor and it still doesn’t run, we’ve put in a second used motor and it doesn’t work either.” Usually, they would tell us the car would be operable the following Friday, yet when we called, it wasn’t repaired. In over a year we made 30 phone calls to check on the car’s status and they only called us two times to give us an update. Totally unprofessional over and over again. Finally, after a year of broken promises and them saying, “I’ve washed my hands of this car,” we made arrangements to have our car taken elsewhere. We were NEVER offered a “lender car,” reimbursed for our time and frustration or given a “fair market value” for our car. Correspondence with the Aamco headquarters never was productive. Aamco should be embarrassed and ashamed of this shop’s craftmanship and public relations with its customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE CREAM RIDGE AAMCO."

"Brought my truck in 2 years ago to have the transmission rebuilt Within the 1st year I started having issues again brought it back and then it was transferred over to a different location they had it for over a month without looking at it did not want to honor the warranty that I was told I had after some back-and-forth they honored it rebuilt it again and now I only have 12000 miles on it and my transmission went again so now I'm in the process of buying a brand new transmission to have put back in my car after spending over $4000 on this shop. Super unhappy was told that we didn't have a warranty and that there was nothing they can do to help us. Well make sure I tell everyone about the service I received so it will be costing me another 4000$."

"I came to AAmco first because I thought they were specialists when it came to transmission problems. Unfortunately I decided to have my truck towed back to my home and then had another transmission shop pick it up and completed the job for a reasonable amount of money. My bill went from $3700 to $1600 and the $1600 included a radiator flush. AAmco was trying to get rich off of one job! I suggest to everyone dont let that one job be you! If you plan on doing business with this AAMCO shop please please do yourself a favor and get a second estimate."

"I have mixed reviews. I 1st came in with a transmission issue...my service 4wd light comes on intermittently. After almost 2 weeks at the shop, a new computer and $1500..my service 4wd light still comes on..just not as intermittently. I brought the truck back because it would not start... after a week in the shop and $700..I got a new battery...and the truck starts...because they spent 2 hour troubleshooting to find the source of the battery drain (turned out to be a bad battery) and they cleaned some corrosion off a battery cable for $200+. Probably need to find someplace else to bring my truck...."
