"I was referred to this office and the initial in person consult went well. However the support staff is very unprofessional when it came to referrals and financing, specifically Nadia. I have an insurance plan that doesn’t offer much coverage for specialty procedures so I was diligent in making sure that all necessary authorization forms were completed and submitted. When I called the office a week prior to my procedure to make sure they got everything they needed, I was told that they did and were waiting to hear back from insurance regarding authorization status. The Friday before my procedure they called me to confirm my appt and go over cost. I was informed that it would cost me $900+ so I asked to speak to Nadia just to make sure that she had all the information she needed from Horizon as last we spoke they said they did not. So I wanted to be sure that my claims were processed correctly before I paid so much in office. Nadia proceeded to tell me that she never got the referral from my primary dentist. So I asked why didn’t anyone tell me that when I called two days prior? I told her that my primary dentist said they would fax the referral to Shore Endo but I also asked them to send me a copy via email just in case and also for my records. When I told Nadia this she said “Well, you should have sent it to us! We’re not going to do everything for you!” Also, during our conversation she was very rude, impatient and spent most of the time interrupting and speaking over me which made it difficult to explain or communicate anything. After she told me that she wasn’t going to do everything for me I interrupted her and told her she’s not going to continue to speak to me that way and I hung up the phone. As a patient I do not have to tolerate such rudeness from staff or anyone for that matter. I am a nurse and I’ve been in healthcare since 2010, I know poor patient care when I witness and/or experience it. Nadia is a very poor example of a healthcare worker. And an even worse representative of this practice as a whole. I have never addressed any of my patients the way she spoke to me!! I’m in the middle of a course of antibiotics but still elected to cancel my appt on Wed bc I’m no longer comfortable with the idea of receiving care from an office that employs such unpleasant people with such reprehensible interpersonal and professional skills. She makes the whole practice look bad and I’d be embarrassed to have her as one of my supporting staff."

"Walked in about 15 min early for my new patient appointment and they took me back so quick I wasn’t even done completing my paperwork. Assistant Christie and Dr Micallef were thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. I’m really anxious at the dentist and they both made me feel super comfortable. Highly recommended Shore Endo!"

"Went here to have my root canal retreated. Dr. Halpern was very friendly and did a great job with the procedure. You can tell she's perfected her craft. No pain whatsoever. Setting up the appointments was easy and the staff was nice as well. Only nit pick would be it took 3 trips with the evaluation and the root canal took 2 trips. I'm sure this is par for the course with stuff like this as it's complex. You really get the feeling they wanted to get everything done right with no mistakes for the patient. Would recommend to anyone who needs work done on their teeth. 5 stars."
