My vehicle bumper looked fine, but they explained that there could be damage under the vehicle. There was, they took pictures and sent it to me before repairing the vehicle. Also, they worked directly with the insurance company to obtain payment. My input was not needed."

"Had to share a positive car repair story! In early 2020, I had some damage repaired on a door at this shop. It looked great and fair price. However, early this year (2022) I noticed that a small portion of the old repair was showing through the paint and starting to show signs of rust. I didn't expect help...but I called and they had me come right in. Took the guy about 30 seconds to look at it, and say "yes...that's on us and we will fix it." They fixed it in just two days with no additional charge. So this is a HONEST place that stands behind the work. I'm a happy customer."

"Do not bring your car to First Choice if you care about customer service or accountability. I will say that the body work done on my car was fine, but leather in the interior was damaged while the car was in their posession, and First Choice is not only refusing to take responsibility for it, but basically calling me a liar. I would not be writing this review if they had simply acknowledged my concerns and apologized for the damage, but this is not how they chose to handle the situation. I brought my car to First Choice because it was the closest preferred collision center of my insurance company. There was minor body damage to the front of my car from hitting a deer. It took almost a month for them to start work on my car, but once started everything seemed to go smoothly. The work took two days longer than the original estimate, which was fine. I had been warned in advance that once they took my car apart, they might find additional damage that could extend the repair time. The ladies in the office were very nice and kept me informed. I have no complaints about the body work that was done. My insurance covered the cost, so I can’t complain about the price. My husband picked up the car from the shop as I was working for several days after the repair was complete. As soon as I drove my car I noticed there was a rough patch on the top of my leather steering wheel that had not been there before. Once I stopped I saw there was a 3 inch section of the steering wheel where the leather had obviously been scraped by something. I called First Choice and brought my car in so they could inspect the damage. Anthony took a look at it, took a picture, then said someone would be in touch within 24 hours. No comment, no apology, no questions. The following day someone from my insurance company came to my house and said that he would speak to First Choice but reasonably stated that this was between me and them as it was not part of the original repair. I was expecting a call but heard nothing. Then I noticed that I had received a form email from First Choice thanking me for allowing them to repair my vehicle, etc. with a line added at the bottom saying that they considered the damage to be normal wear and tear and would not be taking any other actions. This annoyed me, not so much because they weren’t going to repair the damage, but because they hadn’t bothered to ask me any questions or even inspect the rest of the steering wheel to compare with the damaged portion. I called to try to address the issue and spoke to Anthony, who impatiently dismissed my explanation of how I knew the damage was new and why it wasn’t consistent with normal wear, and then refused to discuss it further. I came away from this conversation pretty surprised at the complete lack of courtesy and sympathy. As I tried to explain to First Choice, the leather damage is not in any way consistent with normal wear and tear. I know leather wears with time, which is why I regularly clean and condition the leather in my car, because I love it. The rest of the leather on my steering wheel is pristine, except for the heavily scraped section on top, which they would have seen if they were at all interested in looking. I don’t even wear any rings because I work in a hospital and use hand sanitizer a hundred times a day. At the end of the day, I will just find some other way to repair the damage or replace the leather, but the lack of basic courtesy will make me take my business somewhere else from now on."
