"Chips Salon is probably the first salon that ever made me feel like my authentic self for the first time ever. I grew up surrounded by those who didn’t know how to “tame” my hair, so I grew to dislike my curls very much. For years I had no clue what to do with my hair or style it. I straightened it all the time to the point where all of it was fried to the point of no return lol. I gave chips salon a shot with the thought of nothing to lose. Miss Onita is a life changer. She chopped off what she could and DEFINITELY showed me how to take care/style my hair. Literally didn’t know it was possible to see my curls in true form that it was. Now I sit 2 years later with longer, healthier curls. Will alwaysss be SUPER grateful for the help and great customer service I was shown from day 1. 10/10."

"This was genuinely the best salon experience I've ever had. Having wavy / curly hair, I've had so many bad experiences with haircuts in the past. I spent a lot of time searching for a salon that would fit my needs & had experience with textured hair. Once I found Onita's salon, I knew right away that this was the place I wanted to go to. The second we walked into the salon, we were greeted by Patricia who proceeded to introduce us to both Onita & Donna. Not only that, but she was also kind enough to give us a tour of the entire salon, which is absolutely gorgeous & clean by the way. Onita made sure she knew exactly what I wanted from the haircut before starting anything. She cut my hair dry, which is usually ideal for curly haircuts & she never once rushed to get the job done. She took her time & was extremely focused on her craft. After the cut, Donna washed & did a treatment on my hair. She was so sweet & I enjoyed speaking with her while she took care of my hair. Once the treatment was done, Onita did a few touch-ups for the haircut & started styling. I never thought I would be able to achieve that picture perfect wave with a tousled part, but she did it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality haircut, as well as a wonderful experience!"

All the staff are so nice and incredibly helpful. "My stellar experience with Chips began with my initial phone call to schedule an appointment. I spoke with both Trisha and Rachel, who went above and beyond to accommodate a time that worked for me. Both were incredibly nice, personable, and enormously helpful. From just scheduling my appointment, I could tell I was about to be in amazing hands. When I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from both Trisha and Rachel, who made me feel more like family than a first time customer. I was also given a tour of the whole facility from Ashli an especially friendly and kind team member there, who is very clearly an expert in all things related to the salon. The salon itself is truly beautiful, and incredibly clean. In these strange times of COVID, it is rare to find a public place that feels safe, but Chips provides an environment that allows for comfortable social distancing, with all the precautions in place to ensure that all customers can comfortably be serviced. I was incredibly impressed with how beautiful and chic the interior is, as well as all of the additional services Chips offers, aside from hair. I was there for a cut and color, and the result exceeded my expectations. Onita is truly an artist. I came in with no clear idea of what I wanted, and from the very vague description I gave, she was able to create a color that was not only unique, but worked with my coloring in a way that I could not have even thought of myself. The entire staff very clearly takes a thoughtful approach to their work, and I could not have been happier with the result. I can say with 100% certainty that this was the best cut and color I have ever received, and the experience itself was more pleasant than one could imagine. I cannot recommend Chips highly enough. Its staff and the level of professionalism and expertise cannot be properly described in a review.
