"Buyer Beware! Don’t shop here. This dealership swindled us out of $600+. We made our deal, told our down payment covered everything and there was no more money due! Waited for the car to come on, went to pick it up in the evening. When we were sent in to the “finance guy” he demanded another $600+ for 1st payment, taxes & fees. I told him we had agreed to the larger down payment to cover that, he said we were wrong and would have to talk to the salesman to straighten it out. Not surprisingly, he was no where to be found despite the fact that we had made the appointment to pick it up and he had been there 10 minutes before that. It was late and we needed the car to get home, so I wrote the check. Additionally, he could not apply our “reward points” because of the time of day, so that cost us another $400 which he assured us would be credited to future service after we clear it up with Chevrolet! Called salesman next day and he said he would look into it. No response for weeks. Went into dealership and asked him again, he again said he would look into it. Ghosting us since. No response whatsoever. Also, Chevrolet said there was absolutely no reason for them to not apply our rewards, but there was nothing they could do after the fact. We were ripped off by a planned scam to be sure!! Do not shop at Malouf!!"
"Mike and the sales manager were absolutely wonderful with helping me get into a new car. After a little bit of negotiating we were able to get the price we desired and the car we desired. They were so nice and friendly to work with and made me feel at home! My husband can’t wait for his lease to be up so he can switch to Chevy!"
"I had a very good experience with the service department. Randy has been my advisor for the past 7 years and always been great to deal with. I didn't have any issues with my vehicle but it's been a year since my last visit. Of course I needed an oil change and tire rotation which I had a coupon for, and the technician suggested a front end wheel alignment , brake fluid service and replace 3 serpentine belts. It took about 3 hours and it was done. I also accrued Reward points from prior service s and was able to apply them to the bill. A shout out to the guys who check you in at the door, all very nice."
"I called the Service Department because my 2020 Equinox I am still in my lease with you guys. I was having brake trouble well actually the brake was going to the floor they weren’t even working. The person who answered the phone in the service department made rude accusations that I did not keep up with the maintenance on my car. I decided to take it else where rather than just bring it to you guys. I was told that it was a bigger issue than just brake pads and it was absolutely unsafe to drive. I called the service department again to ask if I would be under warranty instead of looking it up they just said no and would you want to make an appointment. I kindly declined and I have emailed the GM twice about the issue and the rude accusations. he never replied back to me. However, I called another Chevrolet dealership who looked up my car and said I actually was still under warranty and who got me an appointment ASAP and told me my car needed a new brake line hose which he has never heard of it a 2020 Equinox. He informed me all the maintenance on my car was up to date and everything else looked good which your employee accused me of not doing. I wanted to just bring it to Malouf to begin with and if I had done so I probably would have my car back by now. Instead it felt like I was inconveniencing your employee asking questions about being under warranty and having had my lease with you guys. I was just told “just because it’s a lease doesn’t mean you don’t keep up with the maintenance” I have had to take off work because I have no car and have had to find people to help pick my child up from school. My husband and I had a great experience when we first got both our leases and we’re talking about having to go back since our leases are up soon but after this experience we will be taking our business else where. I hope this experience does not happen to another customer of yours. If you do get something like this please call somewhere else and double check you are getting the right information."
