"I took my grandson to the 502 Springfield ave shop , I called before I came. I walked in and told her that I needed my 5 year old grandson dreads clean, he had a lot of lint buildup in all his dreads. I opened up some so see could see just what I was explaining to her over the phone. I was told it would cost $200 to clean his dreads. I noticed one of the other stylists doing someone else’s hair and I asked her is that gel you’re using, and she said yes. I told the stylist that was doing my grandson‘s hair do not use gel in his hair his scalp cannot take it. She explain to me no we do not use gel in this shop. I explain to her your stylist in the back just told me that she was using gel . Said no It is something that we mixed together. A day later, my grandson has sores in his hair. White flakes comes from gel. I also noticed all the built-up lint still in his dreads. I called shop they told me to come back in. I said I paid $200 for you to clean his dreads. The stylist said I washed his scalp ..me really ?I could’ve washed his scalp myself.. I asked for his dreads to be clean from lit build up and was told it was $200. She says to me oh no to do that It would’ve cost more money. She then ask me well who told you that? I pointed to the stylist in the shop that gave me the information when I walked in the door . She never questioned the stylist that was standing there. She just continues to argue with me . I asked the price when I came in because they did not give a price over the phone .explaining the situation when I arrived and was told it will cost $200 to clean his dreads from the lit, build up .what I paid for was never done very disappointment that I was a lie too, the service that I was told I was getting did not ever happen. His scalp has sores and was told he needs to see a dermatologist. That’s not our problem me really? He did not have sores in his scalp when I brought him here. I was so disappointed because the person that referred me I trusted them because she said they do good work sad to say I did not have that experience."

"The lockticians were very polite and friendly. I waited a while because there were others ahead of me. One thing I would appreciate is the type of music could be changed to better or child friendly music. Paying attention to the younger ears or others who may be inclined to listen would be appreciated."

"I really wish I had read the reviews before wasting my time on my birthday which is the only day off I’m getting this week! I had an appointment for 10:30am walked on 15minutes early only to be told to Sign in! I still didn’t understand what was happening so I stuck around for about 30min it’s before asking when would I be ready for service. On the website it was advertised as if you get an appointment with one of the multiple stylists…THERE WAS ONLY TWO. BOTH with clients in their chair looking at me in confusion. I asked about the appointment system & was told they are walk in there was people before me ! Having been there 45min already I was told “You definitely won’t be out of here in an hour” I have short hair but it was more so the lack of professionalism the lack of empathy nobody cared that my time was wasted at all . I didn’t even get my hair done. ON MY BIRTHDAY !!!! Ruined my entire day. Please don’t waste your time thinking you’ll have an appointment here."

"Found them on Google. 9 am appointment on a Monday. Opened late. Waited over 2 hours just to start. They left my locs wet so stylist could leave early. Had to go home and dry my hair correctly with blow dryer. More than one person in your hair as well. Unprofessional salon. Real clown 6itches. For $160 won't be back."
