"After almost 20 years, Dr. Rauch totally failed me. He's on the expensive side and doesn't participate in any insurance, but I've always accepted it because everyone always complements me on the job he does. However, in the last few years he's taken to teaching, so he's hardly ever there physically and mentally. The final straw was when he replaced a filling on my tooth last year, after which I was in terrible pain. I kept complaining for about 5 months and he adjusted it a few times and basically ignored my suffering. I pretty much gave up on life and my family - could barely make through the day. In the end, I had to take it upon myself, which lead me to a root canal and ultimately a tooth extraction. Now after over a year, I'm starting to come back to life. But I can't forgive him for allowing me to be in this much pain w/o at least suggesting what to do next."
