"Once again, I am infatuated with Nenad’s work. I came in with some grown out blonde hair and had a vision of doing red or copper. Nenad looked at my hair, my picture reference, and told me what he thought would be best. I LOVE the end result! I never thought I would be a red/ copper and he made it happen. I ENJOY literally everyone here and had a blast talking with him and the other stylists during my appointment as no one else was there and we could just have a good time."

"I want to start off by saying all the staff are so nice and do their best to make sure you’re comfortable. That being said, if you have type 3/4 curls this salon is not for you. I first visited art room in August for a curly hair cut, knowing the difficulties of finding a salon who can style curls I went with my hair already washed & styled and had them do a dry cut. I was pleasantly surprised on the cut and decided to trust them to dye my hair recently. The color is absolutely beautiful but with hair dye comes washing of the hair and styling. This is where things went south. Anyone who is educated on curls knows that conditioner is essential as curls can lack moisture especially after hair dye. Instead my hair was shampooed 3xs & barely any conditioner was applied. My hair was also washed & “conditioned” without being detangled. My hair was left completely knotted and almost matted after leaving the salon. My appointment was at 6pm left at 8pm and when I arrived home I had to go back into the shower to deep condition and detangle the nest they left in my hair due to not knowing how to properly handle curls. It took me 40 mins to undo the mess and then have to style and dry my own hair. I did not finish until 9:30pm. I would prefer being told upon arrival that although I had beautiful hair they were not equipped to handle my curl pattern and did not have the right tools and products. I would have much rather that honesty instead of spending hundreds of dollars to then have to do my own hair again when other women get to leave a salon feeling their best. First picture is how I left the salon and second is after I reconditioned and styled. *My response to the owner since google does not allow replies* Although it was not mentioned to me that styling was an additional add on to the appointment, I wouldn't have trusted your staff to further touch my hair after it was proven that they do not know how to properly shampoo and condition my curls. A salon that claims to know how to work with curls should also know washing the whole head of hair loose is not be the best way to do things and that my hair needs to be sectioned into 4 separate sections and have been conditioned appropriately. Regardless of the lack of styling, I should not have left with a birds nest in the middle of my head."

"I had a wonderful experience at Art Room Hair Spa — first, I got a haircut from Sandra. She gave me beautiful, cascading layers. Then, Samantha did a gorgeous caramel brown balayage. I had never dyed my hair before professionally but Samantha made sure I was comfortable with the color I chose. The client service was top tier and I was able to enjoy mimosas while getting everything done. Even the head massage (by Alba) was so relaxing. I can’t recommend this enough. The only difficulty is that they only accept tips in cash - so don’t forget to bring cash or a debit card."
