"I have been coming here for a couple years now. Worth the trek from Staten Island for sure. Between my previous stylist Darby (RIP), and now Steven I have received nothing but excellent service, excellent style, and as much excellent conversation as wanted (or sometimes silence is golden and that is excellent also). I came in with no direction, always having a cheap hair cut with no styling whatsoever. While coming here and getting a great job done, I asked questions about DIY styling (products, technique, shortcuts, &c.) and got nothing but quality answers in return. Although they sell product here, and they use the ones they sell on you during the process there is no pressure of any kind to make a purchase at any time. I have never lacked for confidence in almost anything; business, personal, or otherwise. But, I can absolutely admit this place has given me a confidence to style my own and rock it that I never expected to have. It never used to be for me but now that I have it, and it is priceless. Screw 5/5, not enough granularity. Solid 10/10. Will be back Details: Short Barbering, no long hair here. Haircut costs $125, but that is for the full hour which is used in its entirety."

"I came in for a bleach and tone on my natural dark hair and was helped by Will and had the best experience. Not only were they welcoming and friendly but also very gentle and cognizant of my sensitive scalp. I felt comfortable and relaxed during the whole process and the end result came out perfect! They knew what shade of blonde best suited me. Overall one of the nicest hair salons I’ve been to and the energy is great. I recommend Will to anyone who wants to dye their hair but is hesitant to do so!"

"Hands down the best hair salon in Brooklyn. The space is so chic and the stylists are really talented. Alexis is especially amazing. I have a lot of mistrust with hair stylists in general due to previous bad experiences, but have been going to Alexis for almost 2 years and can’t imagine going to anyone else. Her haircuts are a work of art! I remember the first time I came to her asking for curtain bangs, but emphasizing that I really wanted to keep my hair long — she understood the assignment, it was the best haircut I’d ever had and I received so many compliments. I remember the first time she pulled out a straight razor during my haircut and I got so nervous, but the end result was truly outstanding and restored so much volume to my hair. Would recommend her to anyone, especially if you have long hair!"

"Went to get my hair dyed darker by Daniella - I think she accidentally left it in for too long because it was way darker than we agreed on. At first I figured it still looked good but about a month later it has faded on one side of my head and not the other. Now the left and right sides of my hair are two different colors."
