"Only sharing my experience since I brought my child here after reading the glowing reviews. My child is 4 and this was his first time visiting this practice. He has had excellent experiences at all other doctors and dentists appointments and haircuts etc. Maybe today was an off day but he felt scared the minute he saw the chair. All normal things you would expect from a toddler. The hygenist suggested I sit on the chair and have him in my lap while the dentist does the routine cleaning. I was shocked that the moment the dentist began and my son was clearly in distress they instructed me to cross my legs over his and hold his arms down while the hygenist would pin his head back. All this while my son was begging and screaming please don't hold me down. I get it, toddlers don't like the dentist but is this really the best approach as a pediatric practice? Have two people holding them down using force instead of having tools to help calm and reassure a patient as a first attempt instead? Instead of pausing and talking to the patient, they insisted on me using MORE force to hold him down. We clearly, were unable to do the exam and left without completing the cleaning. The dentist tried to talk to him after but at this point it was all very traumatizing for both me and my son."

"Took my son for his first dentist appointment yesterday. It was a great experience! Dr. Tamar was so kind and friendly. She explained everything to my son and myself. She showed everything to him so that he wasn't nervous at all. The dental hygienist, Alex, was also great. It was a quick, easy appointment, and ended with prizes for my son. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tamar to anyone!"

So delightful to land at a place where everybody is helpful, nice, cordial and professional after the horrific experience we had before. Dr. Tamar is very nice with kids, easing their nervousness chatting about things they like. And she is great at finding the tiniest issue that needs to be addressed with their teeth!"
