Buon Appetito 2.0

"I am going to start by saying that I support small businesses and I was rooting for this neighborhood jewel to reopen. However, this has been one of the biggest disappointments. I ordered large ham and cheese sub, after paying $19.50 for a sub, I received stale bread, old sour lettuce, almost no mayo at all. The sandwich was awful, one bite and it ended up in the trash. I'm sorry this is not Buon Appetito, change the name to something else. I won't be coming back."

"Wow! What an experience!!! Buon Appetito is a gem, the dinner music had me dancing in my seat along with the taste of every dish. We kept it local for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. We started with Sangria for the table, red and white. The Sangria here is my go to and the price is right! For appetizers we had the meatballs, which we wish we ordered more of, the eggplant rollitini was delicious, the buffalo wings were crispy and sauced to perfection and the catfish strips were the southern goodness I wanted. Mrs. Wanda, the owner, brought us the Shrimp Scampi Pie and piping hot garlic knots right out of the oven, on the house. I can’t stop thinking about that pie. For the main course we had the lobster dinner for the table, plentiful and rich in flavor. The garlic cream and garlic and wine sauce were both delicious. The scallops and shrimp were buttery and cooked perfectly and each of us had a lobster tail. We ended our dinner with one of each dessert, each be better than the next. We had Lemoncello, Almond, Cheescake, Chocolate fudge and Carrot Cake. And to top it off Shani made us Wanda’s shot and it was so good we couldn’t get enough. Can’t wait to bring my family back!!!"

"I wish I could say Buon Appetito was back. I’m not sure that it is. I ordered a sandwich that was decent but not dressed properly. Did not have any hot food. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. They need to decorate to give the place some identity. Prices are very reasonable."

"I ordered grilled salmon with mixed vegetables and candy yams the food was delicious. I also ordered a take out dinner of turkey wings spinach and mashed potatoes for my son. He gives the restaurant an "A plus" the food was season right, and the meat was very tender so delicious. The owner and her staff were very friendly and we will definitely be back"
