Tim McLoone's Supper Club

"We are a local architecture firm and held our office holiday party here recently. Having been to the Supper Club for different music events throughout the years, I wasn't sold on how their event planners, Vicki & Libby, would be able to create a warm and inviting place for our 48 staff members in a room that can accommodate 160 guests. But I have to say, they knocked it out of the park! The placement of the buffet tables to close in the space a bit was perfect and they were happy to accommodate my requests when it came to fostering an environment where everyone could choose to casually hang out at hi-top tables, at the bar, in the seated window spaces or at regular tables with their colleagues. They rolled in a Christmas tree for the stage, designated an area for our selfie station, permitted us to add our company logo to their 2 LCD panels on stage, provided a microphone for our speeches, played my specific Spotify playlist for us in their audio booth, etc. We did not pay extra for these items/services. Our add-on appetizer table by the bar was perfect for guests who arrived hungry and needed a little something before the buffet came out. The food we chose from their generous menu was all wonderful. We added a carving station with roast beef, which got rave reviews. The staff was perfectly accommodating that day, even to our gluten free employee (which I had forgotten about!). We chose the open bar tab package which worked out great because half of our staff doesn't drink alcohol. We have a culturally diverse team scattered amongst all ages here and as the HR Manager, it was important to me that EVERYONE had a good time and felt they were appreciated. I received fantastic feedback across the board. Especially from our Owner/Principal. He couldn't have been more pleased. Big thank you to Vicki & Libby for making me look good:)"

"Went there for a quick lunch with my coworkers. Will end up going back one more time before I leave town. quick light drinks easy ordering and outside. I have an oysters and a salad. Coworkers like their food. Beachfront. Walked on the boardwalk to access restaurant. Friendly server."

"I love this place. First came here over a decade ago, and Tim himself played the piano and entertained and mingled. What a gentleman. I always have the oysters when I come here, but the burgers and salads are also great. Dog friendly, they even have a chicken dish for your mutt if you need to feed it. This is a great place to eat, with phenomenal views, excellent service and food."

"Our perfect wedding day- made possible by McLoone's! Alyssa and Victoria were amazing from start to finish. As soon as my husband and I saw the space, we were in love. Right on the water next to convention hall- I mean you just can’t beat it. We had 154 guests attend and the max of the space was 160. We read many reviews and were a little stressed out about being so close to the max of the venue but honestly everything turned out better than we ever could have imagined. It was wonderful to see people from “my side” and “his side” connecting throughout the night. Having the outdoor balcony space always available kept the intimate space from feeling crowded as well. We still hear about how fantastic the food was from others, and we DID get to eat it!!!! Alyssa made sure that we got a tasting plate of the appetizers and our main food stayed hot until we got to it. We also were sent home with leftovers the next day which was such a great touch. The communication, vibes, food, bar, and price make this venue a can’t miss."

"This was a delicious relaxing meal. We escaped the wind on the boardwalk and really had a great experience. The hostess and waitress were so nice. Our waitress in particular was great. She was friendly, patient and lovely with the child in our party. The BLTA was one of the best I’ve had and the fish and chips was huge and delicious. The fish wasn’t too fishy and cooked perfectly. I think the only complaint was that the tomato soup wasn’t quite as warm as wanted but we asked for it to come out with flatbread so that’s probably a big factor. Sweet potato fries were excellent as was the burger which was cooked perfectly to order. Tried everything was tasty. I also had the best cider there. It was truly delicious and I wish I’d thought to photograph the menu to know the name (I believe it had pomegranate and was a local jersey brew!) Will return!"
