"It's not your "OMG let's go there" place but more of "Oh I'm hungry I guess this is okay" The food was decent our waitress was sweet and the place was cozy. It's not somewhere you would go for a drink. Their music was at a decent volume. I was able to converse with my friend and hear the waitress."
"Absolutely amazing!! Food was very flavorful, drinks were perfect, and service was warm and attentive. Would love any excuse to come back over here."
"A hidden gem off main street in Asbury. You might struggle to find the door as Plaza Tapatia also has a grocery store and liquor store. Cozy restaurant with phenomenal drinks my friend said it was the best margarita she ever had (I'm partial to the mechelada). Menu has all of the staples and I struggle to mention a single dish because every time I come here I try something new and I'm always blown away. Guac is incredibly fresh and the salsa/chips you get before the meal will leave you full before you even have dinner. Cannot recommend this place enough"
"So we haven’t order from here in years because my husband and i had a very bad food experience last time, but to be honest this time it wasn’t any better. I got the “chimichanga loca” and in the menu its says it come with rice, beans and the meat, but mine even though it had all the ingredients, there was barely any rice at all, the meat was pretty dry except for the chicken, and the steak over cooked. My husband got the “Caldo de marisco” and well no much flavor, and the crab that it came with was not clean from the inside, it was pretty disappointing. Overall it was an okay, but $40.00 for a samll chimichanga, with very little ingredients, also the cheese on top was pretty burnt, and the flour tortilla, over fried. So i hope someone else has a better experience."
"Decent Mexican restaurant with a typical menu you’d expect. Quality of the food was fine but it was missing something as far as flavor was concerned. We all asked for the spiciest level of sauce on our chimichangas and enchilada but found them to be lacking and had to pour a lot of extra sauce on top."
