"My first experience here (below) was not so good but my recent visits have been way better. The same bartender is now very friendly and funny. The Chicken Parmesan sandwiches are huge and the fries are great. First review: Place is cool but the guy bartender is very rude. We were playing pool and he wanted to voice his opinion on our game and then called keeper interrupting the game and cursing at our teammate because saying "you don't want to f with me". Truly unprofessional. We wanted to move our team here for next season but not after that."

"Typical local dive bar, but in a good way! I got trapped in Garwood with a few friends during the hurricane flooding. We were all hungry and didn't know where or when our next meals would come because everything else was closed. We ended up here looking for food after the kitchen was already closed, but the staff didn't hesitate to turn the grill back on and cook up some tasty burgers and fries! Friendly atmosphere too!"

"You gotta love that side street bar. Doesn't look like you want to in. But it is just a cozy local watering hole. Locals and just that. Locals with manners and decency. Wouldn't have much to say other that it's a shame it's not bigger. Cool secret kinda place to have some pub grub and beer. Pool table is inviting and it is Very clean."
