"We love the food and atmosphere here! We first had the scones via mail (pandemic, HONY article) and loved them and Mary O's story so much that we made it point to stop here on our next trip to NYC (we live in DC). The food menu is intentional and focused on quality (read: short but delicious). The shepherd's pie is some of the best I've ever had. And have I mentioned the scones?"
"BEST. SODA. BREAD. EVER. Always order this when you arrive cause it comes out fresh every time!! Mary is such a sweet person. Her food is out of this world! Shepard’s pie was soooo nicely seasoned. & the seasonal mulled apple cider was so good, kept having more!!"
"We were welcomed in and made to feel at home with warm, Irish hospitality. We couldn’t eat just one scone, so we each had two! Shepard’s pie was delicious! Prices are reasonable!! Don’t forget to get a pack of scones to go!! We will be back on our next visit to NY!"
"Just received my scones today. Not sure why it took a long time for me to get them but the wait was totally worth it. I toasted the scones and used the butter and jam that was sent with them. It was the most delicious thing I’ve ever had in my life. So warm and comforting. It was such a treat."
"Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. Mary is a so nice person. We call at 9.15pm to know if it was possible to come. She said that normally the kitchen close between 9.15/45 but if we could be their in the 30mn she will wait. And she did. We had a lovely dinner, food was excellent, fresh and homemade. They were also a group of Irish musician playing violin live, the ambiance was so pleasant like at home. And without asking for it, Mary offered us her amazing warm scones. Thanks for everything. We definitively come back to visit you during our next trip in NY !"
