"Everything was beautifully decorated. And clean unfortunately. The. Final morning. Myself,my husband, and another guest had. Glass in our French toast. I felt they should have offered us some sort of discount."
"Room was not as listed (tiny broken tv). More run down than expected (stains on walls and tub drain broken). Breakfast was good and nice that they offer a GF option. They offered us a different room with the same tiny TV but no tub so we stayed in our room. They also said they would give us a 10% discount but never did."
"We visited the Harrison 9/28/23 through 10/1/23. The Harrison was absolutely wonderful. The staff was courteous, caring and thoughtful. We had a family reunion there and all family members were very pleased with their rooms and enjoyed interacting with the staff. The breakfasts were amazing and they were able to accommodate every dietary restriction of our group. They are located within a very easy walk to the beach and shops. It did rain for one day but no worries as they even had umbrellas by the door! The tea time was so fantastic that we would schedule our days around it to be sure we could partake. And, the rocking chairs on the front porch were a wonderful place to sit with our morning coffee. We are looking forward to visiting again!"
"We love Cape May -- this was our first experience at a B&B. It is a beautiful property. Our room was gorgeous. The breakfasts were outstanding. I rated 4/5 because I was anticipating a little more interaction and availability of assistance. Our room was very nice but the way the shower was located in the tub area with water drainage made it very slippery. The tub did not function fully. Coffee pots in the main guest house leaked. Hot water pot didn't work for tea. We had to ask for enough towels for two people multiple times. We stayed over New Year's."
"This place is not worth your money. The only good things about it are the food is delicious, most of the staff is friendly and helpful, close to Washington Street Mall, and the place is mostly clean. The rooms have limited storage space. Just one piece of furniture to store clothes and other belongings. The bathroom has no storage space underneath the vanity to store toiletries. There is no phone or phone number to call for help. There is also no staff available after 7 if you need anything. The bathroom floor in our room was old and not very clean. We noticed that the storage area at the end of the driveway and second floor porch needs to be repainted and redone. The beach supplies that is provided is limited and unclean. We requested to have our room refreshed, but it was not done. The breakfast entrée was a reasonable portion, but the portions of fruit and meat were small. They only let you choose between two options for breakfast. On the third morning there, they were slow to replenish the decaf coffee and creamer. Furthermore, there are no rooms with separate beds for non-couples such as mother/daughter (what we were) or friend getaways. As with all bed and breakfasts in Cape May, there is no parking lot. They provide permits to park for the Bank street lot, but it a long walk. This is not a family-owned B&B, so it is missing that personal touch. For $500 per night, we should have had top notch service. Would not recommend."
