"I had such a great experience here. My friends and I loved the food and the service was exceptional!! I would definitely recommend!!!"
"This restaurant had the cleanest glassware that I have ever seen. Even the water glass looked like they were individually polished! As for the food, my wife and I have tried a lot of Indian restaurants in NYC, Westchester, and NJ. We think this is the best Jndian food we have ever had. All of the food had an amazing balance of subtle flavors. We drove down from Westchester just to try this place, and we will be driving down here again in the future."
"Darbar Grill is absolved impeccable! I’m in from the UK for the week — and have to admit that Darbar is as good as any Indian restaurant I’ve been to in London (and far better than the vast majority of them). Everything is done with meticulous care. Started off with the onion bhaji — absolutely delicious! Crispy on the outside with perfect color…tender and delicious inside. For my main, I had the Chicken Mirch Bhuna which again was superb. Definitely on the spicy side with an impressive balance of flavors. It looked and tasted like it was made in someone’s home. Wonderful! Also notable was the naan which I seriously think was the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. Phenomenal! The service was professional and gracious and the restaurant is immaculate. The only downside might be, for some, that it’s a little pricey. BUT this is a first rate restaurant and the prices are in keeping with the level of its quality. As for the food and service — faultless."
"The tandoori chicken platter (served in a bento rather than in small thali bowls) was a very satisfying lunch. The spice level for the lentils and the fritters was just right. The only part that I didn’t care for as much was the mango pudding (too sweet)."
"Walked in at 7p on a holiday wknd in NYC and my wife asked if i rented out the entire place for our dinner party. Fact of the matter is that it was a touch worrisome that it was 7pm in Midtown Manhattan and we were the only patrons in the place. That all changed however, as we settled in and our guests arrived for a sumptous and elevated meal. We all enjoyed the service and delicious Indian cuisine."
