"We ordered goat biriyani for home delivery and it was terrible. They are fooling Americans/ New Yorkers with the most atrocious biriyani you can imagine; aged/fibrous mutton (perhaps stale even) and camouflaging excessively with hot spices. Being Indians, I think my family and I can tolerate reasonable amount of spice. But this is 2X average Indian spicy food. I feel this is a classic case of swindling unsuspecting customers. The good reviews that you may see below are perhaps from being naive or not from food connoisseurs, unless last night's dish was cooked by their waiter. Btw, I’m a visitor, doting father, love cooking and I know my food!"
"Great Indian food place. The lamb biryani and the bhuna goat are fantastic. Those two dishes alongside the raita and naan were brilliant. Docked one star because the lamb kebab and the masala chai were average. Gulab jamun ok as well Recommend coming for the high quality dishes mentioned above."
"BEST INDIAN FOOD IN NYC. Period. I’m also Indian and my whole family is obsessed w this place. Get the samosa chaat, lamb kebab, garlic naan, and butter chicken."
"Went there for dinner with my wife. Hoping it would be authentic Punjabi food. We were not that disappointed given the dal was pretty good. However the mint parathas had very little mint in it and the paneer was pretty hard. Service was great. Vibes are good too."
"I’ve been here 7 times. This is my favorite restaurant in NYC. I order Goat Biryani every time I dine in here or get take out here; and the dish is an extraordinary and purifying experience. I go here to erase the memory of any recent bad dining experiences. And it’s affordable!"
