"Small sushi spot above a weed shop. Great food mostly to take out since the spot is small with only a few tables and chairs. Pictured is the pick two lunch (spicy tuna & salmon with avocado). Hubs also got sashimi. Delicious and fresh at a good price! I only took a picture of the front side of the menu but there is a back side."
"Once a hidden gem but no more thanks to social media and Youtube. This sushi spot above a smoke shop in the heart of midtown Manhattan is hands down the best takeout sushi I’ve ever had. Don’t let the aging stairway and small pickup window fool you, all their ingredients is top notch and definitely justifiable of their menu price. I took the train into the city because of the rave reviews and now a believer. Order early and pick up is your best bet but since I went when first opened, I was able to get a seat. As you can see the narrow hallway only has three tables. This is how award winning sushi should be."
"High class sushi with expensive price tag in a hidden corner. Its really hard to find unless you're really looking for it. Its inside of a smoke shop and up the stairs. The food was great although it comes with a heavy price tag. I got the premium sushi and sashimi combo. came out to be around 60 bucks with tax. I can pay the 60 for this quality of food but the sashimi slices were really thin. I could see the colour of the leaf behind a slice of hamachi under a dim lamp light. But hey times are tough I guess. thats my only complaint along with a bit of fishiness for the uni. would I come back? maybe to try their rolls? but probably not gonna get the premium sashimi set again. the premium sushi I'd definitely get."
"It's literally a hidden gem. This sushi store is hidden away in a smoke shop with stairs to the right that leads up to their "hole in the wall" operation. They have a few seats available for you to eat your sushi but it's largely a takeaway operation. If you need your ambiance, you won't find it here. The price savings is passed onto your sushi and you will find very reasonably priced quality sushi. I still prefer the more extravagant omakase experience but this hits the spot at a lower price point if you are just in for a quick meal."
