"Some of the least fresh fish I've had in new york. Ordered the nigiri set. Weird black stringy pieces in the tuna. Just don't serve the uni if it's completely spoiled. Rice is also completely the wrong texture. Never ordering here again"
"Our "go to" sushi spot - their omakase is always very good."
"Best omakase in the city!! The quality of each step it’s in another level. The knowledge of the serves it’s fantastic!! We tried all the cocktails in the menu and pairs perfectly with all the courses, the bartender makes cocktails that blow your mind! We definitely coming back, we enjoyed every moment. Thanks Azabu to make our night great!!"
"Authenticatic Japanese cuisine. Sushi is on the expensive side. Excellent service. Cozy place, only one bathroom for all guests."
"One word to describe this establishment-inconsistent. I have visited Azabu 4 times and ordered delivery once, which of course would deem my rating as precise as one can get. It is such a shame, because I sincerely enjoy this restaurant and would even give it a high 4 star on days the Head chef is working. On days he is not available or on vacation it is an absolute disaster service wise and the food is almost a 2 star rating. Everything is Chewy, pale, horribly cut. When he is available everything is pristine. Buttery, fresh, delicious. Take a look at my depressing 150$ delivery order. My Otoro looks like it’s a phantom of yesterday’s Tuna. Better to close your restaurant on days the head chef isn’t available then keep open and lose clients."
