"My rating scale: 1 - Hated it 2 - There were substantial things I didn't like. 3 - It was fine. Everything as expected 4 - It was really good. 5 - Exceeded all expectations in a major way. A Wow! experience The atmosphere was neat, evoking a downtown nighttime vibe in a major southwestern Asian city. The food was very good. Fish was fresh. Other dished had well thought out flavor combinations. Service was fine. Place was about 30% overpriced from what it should be."

"Ossu captures the feeling of visiting Asakusa's famous Hoppy Street - a whole street filled with izakaya serving up great drinks and savory small plates. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and overall vibe is authentic. We enjoyed several options including the yakitori, gyoza, chashu buns, and sushi - I particularly recommend the yakitori and gyoza - they taste just like what I enjoyed in Japan!"

"Great environment! Phone service is completely dead in this location and wifi does not work. So don’t think you’re going to update your social media while u eat! The food comes out at different times. Kinda annoying when you are with a group. Which is such a shame cuz the chef makes spectacular food! We met the chef on our visit and they were the sweetest! Our server Roberto was also great! Make sure you swipe your rewards card for points!!!"

"My family and I are big sushi people. We came here to try something new and to celebrate Mother’s Day. The decor of this restaurant is really fun and feels like you’re out on a Japanese street. The cocktail menu is interesting and has something for everyone. I’m honestly slightly disappointed in the options for sushi. I like a lot of selection because I usually get a ton of different things; however what they do have is really tasty. We enjoyed sharing the small plates they have as well. The server was very knowledge and made our celebration something to remember. At the time they were also partnering with Boogie Nights so definitely ask about that. The attire is casual, so dress for boogie nights but eat here before!!"
