"My family and I had a fabulous time at Miyako Restaurant, its our tradition here to celebrate kids birthdays. Hibachi experience was not only delicious but also wonderfully entertaining. The quality of the food is exceptional as always. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the chefs at Miyako for creating such a memorable evening for us."

"Miyako is always a good choice for sushi and Asian meals. We ordered several sushi specials and makimono rolls. For the most part all were delicious. My only gripe would be the nori being a little chewy. Possibly too much moisture in the rice. Otherwise great friendly and attentive service."

"I don’t usually write a review but this is the second time we’ve had dinner at Miyako. Sorry to say the restaurant is still awful. We had dinner at 9:00 PM and made reservations to sit at the Hibachi Table. We were early and as soon as we walked in I was told they didn’t have our reservation nor could we sit at the Hibachi Table. I had to argue with them to sit us and they did. Service was bad. One of the servers immediately asked us for our dinner and drink orders. We just sat down. The server said if he didn’t get our order he would go to the larger party of over 20 people. The Hibachi chef was poor. We had the shrimp and scallops order. The shrimp and scallops were under under cooked. Miso soup was watery. There was so much salad dressing that if I had a fishing pole I could’ve gone fishing. Overall, the restaurant was dirty and disorganized. There are no current reviews so it must reflect all the negative reviews. Save your money. Awful restaurant and staff."

"I believe Miyako is the busiest Japanese restaurant in AC, outside is full of people waiting, we also waited for 30 minutes to sit, but I think it's worth it, good food is worth the wait. Food is fantastic, fish is fresh, drinks are cheap, I'll definitely be coming back next time. I'm from New York, so I know what good food is❤️"

"Went here around 5pish, wasn't busy. We were seated right away at a regular table(non hibachi). Service was good, drinks were great! Get the grapefruit blossom drink...yum. Food was good we had dumplings and sushi. Total bill was $90 for 4 alcoholic drinks(2 each), 2 sushi rolls each and dumpling appetizer."
