Mama Mia's Ristorante

"The place smells amazing as you wait for your food. We had lunch in the dining room, ordering the homemade mozzarella sticks, a side of Italian sausage swimming in marinara and a cheese steak. All these dishes were winners. This place is as local as you can get with regards to Italian food on the jersey shore and it completely captures that flavor that I crave whenever I'm in the area and can't find anywhere else in the country. Will definitely be back."

"This place was an unexpected little gem. Lasagna was amazing. Marinara sauce is very good. Partner had the veal parm. Very good. Tiramisu cake was a nice take on classic Tiramisu and very well done. The service was also exceptional. Always had what I needed. I will be back."

"I had an enjoyable chicken parmigiana dinner at Mama Mia’s. The chicken was tender and well-prepared over a bed of spaghetti. The meal also came with a side salad. I came after they technically closed, so I couldn’t sit in their dining room, but they were very accommodating and served me takeout that I ate at one of the tables outside. My experience was very pleasant overall with great food, excellent service, and a pleasant Italian atmosphere. It’s just over the 34th street bridge from Ocean City, so it’s not far for those at the beach. I give Mama Mia’s my full recommendation."

"I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning. I went with my daughter the restaurant was completely empty, they had to “see” if there was room for 2. I then told them we would get take our they then said are you having dinner or sandwiches. I said probably both and told them we would be getting takeout. When I got home my chicken cheesesteak was totally dry. My family’s dishes penne with vodka sauce and chicken parm were pretty good, but the dinner rolls were so hard and stale I don’t know how they even served them. They even came with a finger print in them! Needless to say I will not be returning.. BEWARE!!"

"While staying in Ocean City, we decided to try out Mama Mia's for a dinner, and it was worth it. Their service was on point and their food was incredible! Every dish they served was awesome and their peach cobbler was out of this world. The only thing that was a turn off was the sharing fee, but that's the cost of splitting I guess. Definetly coming back!"
