"HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your event or special occasion. The Painted Pie created the cakes for my daughter's wedding in Stone Harbor in October, 2022. We decided to have a regular sized cake for the bride and groom and "side cakes" to be sliced by the caterer for our guests. First of all.... this baker is an artist. His cakes are on another level. The bride and groom wanted the carrot cake, which is a nut-free, raisin-free creation with an orange cream cheese icing. Beyond delicious. The carrot and pineapple in the cake are macerated, so the cake has a sophisticated crumb to it; not the typical chunky carrot cake. The side cakes were chocolate with vanilla butter icing. Perhaps the best chocolate cake I've ever had. An intense chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. We were very impressed with the The Painted Pie!"
