"I will be coming here again! The flavors were percolating. I had griot with sweet plantain and black rice. (I believe black rice is only available on Tuesdays and Saturdays) I appreciated the side of gravy that I drizzled over this beautiful rice and picklese. This meal was well balanced and had me doing my happy foodie dance as I savored each flavor. The portions were generous in my opinion and as aforementioned the flavors are delightful to experience. Well done, crew!"
"I really had high hopes for this places. Unfortunately, I asked for stewed chicken and got 2 curry chicken legs, old cabbage and dry Mac and cheese for $17.08.....if the standards and quality of food was better I wouldn't be mad. But I was literally served leftovers for the price of fresh food."
"The ambiance and vibes felt like I was having dinner at a restaurant in a tropical island. It’s a family owned business and they made me feel like family while I dined. Everything was so flavorful and succulent. I ordered the griot (fried pork), black rice, rice and beans, fried plantain, oxtails, cornbread, and Mac n cheese. Everything slapped!! Especially the fried plantain and griot. The prices are affordable and the owner and her family are so kind and hospitable. I will definitely be coming back again."
"Shasha’s Restaurant in turnersville, NJ the food is too die for. I closed my eyes will eating the rice. This is definitely a place to stop by, if you are in the area. However, customer service can improve."
