La Mondina

"The food at La Mondina is amazing. Every time I’ve been there, I was always impressed with the taste. The calamari was lightly fried and was perfectly seasoned. The clams and mussels were also delicious. The pork chop was tender and had a great flavor. It wasn’t on the menu but they made me an affogato. The only negative is that it’s difficult to get a reservation and that it’s a bit too loud. I highly recommend La Mondina!!"

"Visited for dinner, the service was fantastic from beginning to end. The food was alright. We started with the calamari which was excellent. The eggplant stack was good but I felt it was heavy on the breading. For our entrees we chose the seasonal specials, the pumpkin angliotti and the braised short rib with polenta. The angliotti was just ok. The filling wasn’t super flavorful. The sauce was very good but it was either very thin or the pasta wasn’t strained enough and it became watery. Sauce didn’t stick to the pasta. If it did it would have been much better. The short rib was good, but again, nothing spectacular."

"INCREDIBLE!!! Everything about La Mondina exceeded all my expectations. Starting with the focaccia bread and tomato jam to the Arancini with truffles and eggplant Parm. Then the best home made pasta I’ve ever had in my life on the Sunday gravy topped with a crunchy granata was a dish you avoid telling your Grandma about (because it was better than hers). The special short rib brought me back to the first time I’ve ever tried it and how could I forget the biggest veal parm I’ve ever seen it’s the size of the plate has a great crunch and melts in your mouth. The hosts, bussers and servers were all on top of their game all night always making sure things were great. Jordan, our server was attentive, always made sure everything was on point and made our night. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life!"

"Sat on the outside patio. Service was very good. We usually take our sweet time at dinner and they were not trying to rush us out to flip the table. Food was very good, although the risotto could have gone another minute, too al dente for my preference. The gnocchi in truffle sauce was perfect."

"Amazing!! We have been trying to get a reservation for a while now and finally got one to try this delicious gem! They have gluten free and vegan options which was perfect for me. They had great specials and drinks as well! I got the vegan GF bolognese and it was super tasty. My fiancé got the crab pasta special, which he said was amazing. The aesthetic inside and outside were both great and a vibe. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. I cannot wait to come back to try more of their great menu!"
