"I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago. I stumbled upon it one day and I am glad I did. For starters, the ambiance of La Sierra is amazing. The Mexican decorations are authentic and the place was decked out in a traditional Mexican Christmas theme for the holidays. Of course, the beer is super cold, but what drove me to write the review was the authentic Carne Asada tacos. The meat was super tender and flavorful. Service was quick and friendly. This family run business is my new favorite Mexican restaurant."

"Used to come here often but the last time I came this place changed. Green sauce is not as good. Food is not as good. Our waitress barely paid attention to us so we have to ask another waitress We asked for an extra basket of chips and the waitress said “yeah absolutely”. We also asked for a side of mole with our meal which we usually get. When the bill came they charged us $5 for the chips! For a little basket! And $5 for the extra mole. The waitress was also rude and obnoxious. They did not inform us that there would be extra charges and when asked about it the waitress was obnoxious. Never coming back here again."

"Great little Mexican spot, really good frozen margaritas, and my nachos were fantastic. The frijoles in the nachos were especially delicious. We're not in this area often, but I wish we were so we could eat here again soon."

"This is one of the area's undiscovered beauties. Delicious meals and all Mexican cocktails are topped off with an amazing vibe and ambience. Absolutely perfect. The staff is warm and friendly. Particularly, the manager or owner will greet you with a warm smile on his face. I had the impression that I was in Maxico after the first 30 minutes. You must have tasted one of their many drinks. It comes highly recommended."

"First Time to La Sierra. Celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday. We love Mexican food. Margaritas were excellent, atmosphere was bright, colorful and authentic. Even had a little boy selling home-made jello cups table to table. But food was a little off, like short on the sauce for the smothered burrito and enchilada suezas. But we will be back for sure."
