"This place is adorable! I went today for lunch with a friend and everything was extrmely fresh and delicious. Cozy little atmosphere too. I will definitely be back!"
"Dinner when we got here on Saturday and food was absolutely delicious and James made us feel so welcome. Breakfast this morning was divine. Love how everything is fresh made to order which is missing in any other diner we’ve visited. I only wish they could be cloned and move to South Carolina! They would really be adored by all the northerners! Terri, James and Penny treated us like family and we will be back! We also HAD to get a “few” homemade yummies to share with our friends in Philly"
"Ok where do we begin with this little cute place ? Please know this area needs a cute cozy diner with good food. With that being said, this is constructive criticism DO NOT take this personally, I’m rooting for you! Aesthetically, paint the booths white, it will make a world of a difference! Stop yelling at one another from the kitchen. Stop training your staff in front of your customers - We the customers, can all hear you. Be mindful of how long people are waiting to be seated or to get a menu. Speaking of menus, cut down your menu for now, way too many options and your service can’t keep up just yet. (I know you’ll get there). The reason to condense your menu will reduce the wait time for customers. Perhaps offer specials. You don’t need that huge menu not right now. Again, constructive criticism here, I’m rooting for you! The cut of steak on your menu is super tough. I witnessed customers struggling with the steak knife. Orange juice glass should NOT be a pint size. Lastly your plates should be flat. I also witnessed customers tipping the plate over when cutting food. Bathroom appearance, I’m leaving it at that. Listening to feedback and making reasonable modifications will equal success. We will return :)"
"Great food and service at the local diner in Farmingdale, NJ (just outside of Howell off the 33-34 circle). It's a very cozy place with about a dozen or so booths - I think there were 2 large booths (maybe they just put them together- so if you have a large party, you can be accommodated. Ok on to the review... Our server Angela as well as the owners, James and Terry were outstanding. We were seated promptly on a Saturday (around 9am). My wife had the Avocado Benedict and I had an omelette with bacon, spinach, mushrooms and cheddar. The portions were -in my opinion- perfect. Both were served with homemade home fries. Everything was just great. The coffee was smooth very mellow without being bitter. My cup was never empty :) Of course we had to peek at the desserts. After having our fill we decide don taking them to go. We ordered two pieces of Meyer Lemon cake which was delicious as well as a banana nut muffin (which to be honest, I'll prob have tonight as a late afternoon snack - we had the cake after some lunch I made at home). Super happy we found this place on the local FaceBook and decided to give it a try. I should have taken pictures, but to be 100%, we were so hungry, I remembered after we nearly cleared our plates (no prisoners). One final note - and it's not a ding on the restaurant at all - Just be a little careful pulling up to the diner it's right before the circle which can get busy - so just be prepared to turn in - plenty of parking by the way."
"Very cute, clean, and quaint atmosphere. FRESHLY MADE FOOD! For breakfast we ordered & shared a cran/orange muffin grilled, very good. I had the home made cornbeef and it was DELICIOUS! Hubby had an omlett w/ sausage, mushroom, & cheesse. All the food was very good. Wait staff were very nice and you can tell it's family run. We will definitely go back to try more of their fleshly prepared foods again."
