"I went here for a regular oil change. Everything was fine until my car started leaking oil. I took it into another shop and the photo I have attached is what my car looked like after getting my oil changed at this Midas location. I had to get a brand new shield, oil change, etc. The damage done to my car was extensive and pricey. I will not be a returning customer."

"If you need an oil change, service or an opinion take your vehicle here. The mechanics are honest, trustworthy, hard working and take pride in their work. I went in for an oil change and questions about my transmission (I have an 06 ranger which are known to have trans problems) they gave me recommendations and acknowledged their own limitations which not many mechanics would do."

"The people who work here are nice but that doesn’t get your car fixed right. Our second experience was the check engine light came on. They checked the codes and decided it was the “Vent Valve” (No item number on receipt). They had a “manufactures” part in stock, replaced it and did not charge for labor. The light came on again. We left it on a Friday night to be worked on Saturday. We were told they would check it first thing in the morning. All day Saturday we received no call as to the status. Ten minutes before closing we called but no-one answered. We needed the car for Monday so we went over to get it from the parking lot. An employee was moving the car into a bay and would not give us the car. Calling management did not get us the car back either. Manager said he would come in at 7:00 to sort it out. At 7:20 he is a no-show so we had to scramble to get to appointments and when they finally did call they said they put in a defective part and had to change it. No apology. All this made me suspicious so I called around to dealers to get a price on the “Vent Valve” (Not the real name). It turns out they charged more than double the price. The first experience happened before this but didn’t come to light until we took the car to another shop. They had changed the right C/V axle but even after the check engine issue the car shook when going over 40 mph. The new place had to replace the left and the right because the right was either the wrong part or defective. They also charged just a little bit more to do both sides. We had been going to the Midas in Howell for a long time and were happy with the the quality of service. Because of these recent experiences we no longer have the trust we once had and that is unfortunate."
