"To be fair we caught them on a tough day. It was very busy and they were short staffed. But, there were several challenges with forgotten orders, or missing food, or wrong food delivered, or taking super long or not good food. To their credit, they made everything right with rectifying mistakes. So, we will give it another try but order carefully."

"After being "greeted" by a not so friendly host we were seated among throngs of children, all running around while the unaware parents sat around talking to each other. We went specifically for the famous lobster pie which had a weird taste combination. Not what was expected. Neither was the lipstick stained glass at the table either. I ordered the chicken cabrese panini which was very tasty. The server was friendly and accommodating. But...considering this tavern is in haughty taughty Rumson, the experience was a lot less then expected."
