Kobe sushi&hibachi Japanese Restaurant

"My go to place for sushi and Japanese food. Kitchen good is great, sushi has great prices on Wednesday, and hibachi is always delicious during those special occasions. Great service and food. The koi fish pond they have inside makes this place even better."

"I really enjoy this restaurant. Sushi has been consistently good but not excellent. Food is also very good not excellent though. Steak can be a bit chewy and could use some more flavoring, as could the chicken. Still, for the price and service the restaurant is a great option and is BYOB making it an even more desirable choice for a meal."

"I don’t know why it took us so long to try this place. We live locally and the Wednesday special of BOGO sushi drew us in. The food, and service were excellent. My husband had the sushi and my kids and I had the hibachi dinners. The portions were huge. I’m very excited to come back for many family birthday dinners. The staff was so friendly to my 1 and 3 year old. We especially appreciated the inflatable headbands they give to the kids. It shows that they go the extra mile for there guests. Definitely a neighborhood gem!"

"For starters this is a review of the dine in experience in the non-hibachi section. Before the review begins, I would like to state that the food is excellent and that I have been a takeout customer for many months but this review is primarily focused upon the service aspect of the establishment. Getting a seat didn’t take long but it was clear that the abundance of people at the restaurant proved to be too much for the staff to handle. We waited quite a long time to have our orders taken and we had to grab the attention of the waitress who seemed to forget that we hadn’t ordered. The same occurred with customers next to us and it left some concerns on my face; after all having to raise your hand to have your order taken is not the most promising sign. Moreover, we waited an exuberant amount of time for the sushi we ordered to come and there were individuals who were seated later than us that got their sushi before us. It leaves one wondering how they keep track of orders. Overall, the food and atmosphere is good but the dine in experience is far from acceptable. Unfortunately don’t plan on dining in again any time soon, but will continue to do takeout."

"Pricer than Masa but the quality of sushi is most definitely worth it. The gyoza was to die for; the sauce paired with it was delicious. The soup and salad combo with 2 or 3 rolls of sushi for $13 or $15 ish is a steal and a bonus to going. Their nonrice rolls are different and taste decent but not worth the price in reality. The Kani salad had no spice or anything, so it was average at best, nothing to rave about. The presentation of the dishes is beyond beautiful. The colored wraps are soy paper! Highly recommend! Edited review- week and a half apart. The rolls ordered are spicy crab and Avocado roll with soy paper- eel sauce on the side. Other rolls are Cali and Philly roll. During the lunch special, we got the sushi combo, which includes soup and salad with 2-3 rolls for $11 or $14. We also got pork gyoza as an appetizer and, as last time, just as delicious! Lastly, we ordered the lobster naruto roll, which was gross! The cucumber combination was awful where we couldn’t even eat it. It was $15 to have a bit and spit it out! Super disappointed in that roll to say the least!"
