"Everything is made from scratch so the food takes a while to come out, there wasn't a lot of communication from the staff but once it arrived it was worth the wait. You can tell how much pride they take in their food."
"I had high hopes for this place. Walking in it looked great, authentic tex mex, well decorated and seats available. I saw it was a small family run business which I appreciate and enjoy. Menu was full of classics we all know and love. The food came and it was average. Nachos with cheese sauce, similar to what you would find at a ball park, steak was in pieces that looked like shoe leather. Taste was fine but not what I would want from a sit down restaurant. Steak I ordered was flavorful but not exactly grilled to perfection and the sauce was overpowering. I will say service was friendly and it's BYO so there are some pluses"
"Order takeout from this restaurant for the first time tonight. Chips and salsa were good. Chips were plentiful and thin and crispy and the salsa was chunky and juicy. I just wish they gave more salsa as we had excess chips and not enough salsa. Barbacoa chimichanga burrito was delicious and very filling. Pulled pork sliders as an appetizer were good too. Maduros were delicious. Apple empanadas were absolute favorite will definitely be ordering years with every order in the future. Only disappointing food item were the chicken tostadas. These are a staple for me at every Mexican restaurant I visit. I know each restaurant makes them different. I just didn’t prefer they were the way they were made here. This restaurant made them with chunks of grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and shredded cheese. Overall it was a good experience. I just wouldn’t order the chicken tostadas again in the future."
"Delicious food! Nice atmosphere. Friendly owners. Easy parking."
"So excited for this new restaurant! My boyfriend & I swung by last week for dinner - it was dynamite down home Mexican cooking! The food was fresh, well prepared & tasted authentic. The decor was awesome. We had a great time, I highly recommend it."
