"The chef was good and friendly. My steak was more well done and i ordered it medium rare, but the flavor was still good and wasnt too tough. The soup was warm at best. The service itself was bad. I only got asked once in the 2 hours if i wanted anything else to drink besides my beer. The main hostess guy who set up the tables/seated everyone was far from pleasant. We made reservations for 11 people. He told us we were only getting one chef but needed to sit at 2 separate hibachi tables. So a group of us got to watch the guy cook from the other side of the table. When we asked the hostess he said that the other grill didnt work and he had nowhere else to put us. Meanwhile there were 2 more grill/tables behind us that were empty the whole time. He was overall just unpleasant, unwilling to work with us. The bar service was awful. One bartender who had to walk up to the front desk to get change every time someone paid. Of course we had an automatic 20% tip added onto the bill too. I wont be back"
"Go anywhere but here! This place is a disaster. Went with a party of 9 ->$500+ Table service was non existent. We had to ask to order. Ordered drinks etc. some wanted water and never got refills the whole night. Had to keep asking for water and order more drinks. You run thru dishes here a lot, soup, salad, rice etc. No one came to pick up the dishes. We had to put them on another table. Staff avoid making eye contact with you and walk far around your table. After dinner, no one came to clean the table. I had to walk to the front desk where 3 girls are on their phone and ask them to clean and the check! Chefs are great and are the only savior there. Even they see the poor service. Restaurant is lost from the 70s. Ceiling tiles are black from the smoke. Elevator doesn't work if you need ADA compliance (probably for 10 years). Worse is that we refused to pay 20% tip (probably 15% after rounding to $600!). The "head" chef confronted multiple people in our group as we walked out, saying we have to pay 20%. It got ugly after that and we went on our way. Oh $35 cork fee also!"
"The hibachi chef was great! Hence the 2 stars instead of a flat 1 star review. That plus there’s parking and the food tasted good going in. The waiters are nowhere to be found. Show up after 10-15 minutes and look confused. Would highly recommend passing. This is just my experience but there is an overabundance of smell once you walk in. The place looks more like a wedding hall than a hibachi establishment and sadly isn’t set up properly to remove the cooking odor. My clothes smell and are currently in a bag waiting for me to do laundry tomorrow. 2/3 of the sushi we tried to order was out. How?! I guess Sunday is either popular or there was a problem with the fish. I don’t know. It’s a first for me. Maybe 1 or 2 types of fish could run out but the bulk? Strange… Would have been nice to find but I’m putting this on my “don’t go” list."
"Loved the food and the place. We came here after our long run, just for water, but stayed for food as well! Surprised to find this big restaurant next to a highway!"
