Flava’s Restaurant and Lounge

"I decided to come to Flavas tonight since I haven’t been here in a while. My server I believe a young lady named Fey was very pleasent. Alongside I came to support the DJ whom I know and I know a couple people were coming out to support at Flavas. He had stopped at my table for less than 5 mins and Shanae who I believe is a manager decided to charge me gratuity for 2 people since he “ sat down with me” to eat a meal they provided for him on his lunch. I also ordered a lemon drop, which I did not like at all. So I told the server she could take it back. I had no issue with paying for the drink, but charging me gratity for your staff sitting down with me for 2 songs ?!?! CRAZY. I don’t know if these bartenders are licensed but it’s a Hard NO for meI ended up going to the girl * manager for the night* shanae in which she had a nasty attitude, I asked her if we had a problem and she starting getting very talkative and also making remarks to another co-worker which I’m not the only person who seen. I love this because you never know who your serving, I invited one of my friends who have a HUGE following on IG for their food/ place promotion place & they did horrible. Just for my server I will provide a extra star. But I’ve been in customer service and management for 7 years and I’m disgusted,"

"I came here on a Wednesday around 6:30 PM because I saw online that they had a happy hour special from 4 PM to 8 PM.I asked about the happy hour special and The waitress informed me that they no longer do that.(I ask then why is it still online) I told her that the only reason why I came was because they had the special. I drove 40 minutes to get there just to be disappointed. So I continue to order from the general menu I ordered rice and peas with cabbage and Stew chicken. The menu said that the stew chicken came with A leg and a thigh when I got my stew chicken it was nothing but chicken back. I had 90% bones and 10% chicken. The first waitress that we had seem to be annoyed whenever I asked her questions. it was not a very friendly experience. The second waitress that we had was young and very nice but we only had her for about 10 minutes before we left. overall I will give the food 2/10 and the service 4/10. I will definitely not be returning. I did not have a good time."

"As you can see, the oxtails and the surf n turf sampler were delicious. First time eating at this restaurant and I must say the food options that we consumed were good. The drink we had was the terrible two’s. If you’re not fond of sweet drinks then don’t get this. Music is a vibe and the waitress are attentive. It’s a bit cold in here which is why I gave it 4 star experience. The water tasted like juice was mixed in it or maybe the lemon had some juice splashed on it."

"Chic Caribbean restaurant serving one of the best oxtails I’ve ever tasted. Their hours of operations 24/7. The decor in this place is modern and very nicely decorated from the ceiling to the floors. The Rasta Pasta (Marley Pasta) is very tasty with Caribbean zest and flavor. Nice friendly staff. Decent prices. Parking is tight and limited."
