"Same people working here for years. Big slices they go for about $5.50 for slices with Toppins. Good music great atmosphere."
"This is a Dyckman institution serving one of the best pizzas in NYC. They have a few tables if you want to dine in. They only accept cash"
"One of the best (or the best) pizza I've had in NY. Very friendly people working there, good prices and really big slices."
"Pizza Palace is the kind of place that you could walk right by without even noticing it. Tucked away on a side street in Dyckman, it's easy to miss the unassuming storefront with its simple sign that reads "Pizza Palace". But for those who know about it, Pizza Palace is a little slice of heaven in a city that's famous for its pizza. The interior of Pizza Palace is nothing fancy - just a few tables and chairs, a counter where you can order your food, and a large pizza oven that dominates the room. But it's the pizza that's the star of the show here, and for good reason. The pies at Pizza Palace are some of the best you'll find in the city, with a crispy, chewy crust that's the perfect balance of salty and sweet. The menu at Pizza Palace is simple - just a few classic pizza toppings like pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms, along with a few specialty pies like the "Meat Lovers" and the "Veggie Delight". But the simplicity is part of the charm here - there are no frills or gimmicks, just good old-fashioned pizza that's made with care and attention to detail. What really sets Pizza Palace apart, though, is the service. The staff here are friendly and welcoming, treating every customer like an old friend. They're quick with a smile and a joke, and they make you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door. All in all, Pizza Palace is a must-visit for anyone who loves pizza. It may not be the fanciest or most well-known pizzeria in the city, but it's got heart and soul, and that's what really matters. So next time you're in Dyckman, be sure to seek out this hidden gem - you won't be disappointed."
"Any place that bumps Ashanti/Ja Rule is honestly an automatic 5, but the food seriously blew my mind... also note I'm a tough critic thanks to my jaded millennial nature. Parking: Shared lot and street. The lot had a handful of spots at 5pm, but I imagine it fills up quick. Reservations: honestly just set notification alerts for cancelled rezzies and pray really hard to your god/deity of choice Food: -Dosa onion rings: you have to experience this -red wings: the kick builds but I thoroughly enjoyed the dry rub on these. -pizza: the green chutney is fire -okra fries: must order. Crisped to perfection à la the best tempura fry you've had -malted chai soft serve: pleasantly surprised and yes those look like real whoppers atop a generous serving. You can definitely share this! Service: staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We overstayed our table turn, and they were so nice to gently remind us that we gotta go bc I specifically requested a booth seat and they warned us they needed the table at 6:45pm sharp. I'll be back!"
