"I was craving some oxtails and ran into this place on google and I tried it out the two ladies were friendly and they pack the container very well . I had gotten oxtail with rice and peas and Mac and cheese. Oxtail was very tasty but seasoned Rice and peas was very good as well Mac and cheese was delicious and perfect texture for me . I had also gotten a cheesecake and banana pudding. Cheese cake was delicious Not really a fan of Banana pudding but this one was good too."

"The Soul Spot is definitely a soullllllll spot. The curry chicken and black eyed peas was soooooooo flavorful and juicy. The fried catfish was some of the best fried catfish I’ve ever had. The baked macaroni and cheese was really good too and so was my half and half. This was my first time visiting New York and i definitely wanna come back and eat here again. The staff was very friendly. 10/10 highly recommend."

"I ordered delivery on doordash and got the ox tail lunch special, boy was I struggling at work after that meal. I thought I would have enough for later there was so much but I lack self control and finished it, there might have been 2 drops of gravy left. I think the portion of meat is fantastic, I don't know other places that give this much meat over the sides. But the flavor, absolutely delicious and satisfying. I know you can't see it but this is how you do Mac and cheese, I'll probably order a side of that as well. Will definitely be ordering/visiting again!"
