"Great pizza place to enjoy with your friends. You need to try the BBQ pizza it’s my favorite. I wish parking was a little bit easier, however, there is a paid parking lot on the right side."

"The most friendly, professional, courteous pizza guys I've met. Two Turkish guys. Also, quality is not like other NYC pizza slices. Freshest, high-quality ingredients. Had a mushroom truffle slice and a veggie slice. Tremendous undercarriage. Lower prices than other NYC spots these days! $4/slice. (Not comparing to dollar slices..) Thank you!"

"My friend visiting and I had a craving for some pizza. I've been to Champion Pizza before but never wrote a review. Their slices are just as delicious as I remember. I had a pepperoni slice and my friend had the buffalo chicken slice. The pepperoni are the cups that curl and crisp and were baked to perfection. My friend said the chicken was tender and juicy and the slight kick from the buffalo sauce was a welcome addition. He is used to having ranch sauce with buffalo chicken so the blue cheese was different but he said it complemented the buffalo chicken really well. Next time he visits, we will definitely go back and we would highly recommend this spot!"

"no slice of life is quite like NYC pizza existence. this Champions Pizza location is large, well-maintained, lots of seating, and serves solidly good pizza when you’re looking for a casual slice on a late night. the plain cheese slice pairs well with slight inebriation. again, solid slice—not mind-blowing, but it does its job of cheesy carbs with a thin layer of sauce and pizza grease to get you through those spirited Lower East Side nights. staff is pleasant—spend some dough here.* 3.5-3.75 stars"

"We've passed by Champion Pizza and saw all these pictures of celebrities who have visited the place so we said let's give it a try. We ordered their Margarita Slice and Pepperoni Slice. It had that New York pizza style made with a thin crust. The Margarita had tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil. It had a combination of savory, salty, and slightly sweet. Actually, they both had a sweet tomato sauce. When you get pizza there are times when the pizza tastes salty or sweet or perfectly balanced. We will say this place makes more of the sweet side of the spectrum of pizza. The Pepperoni helped balance the flavor more with its saltiness."
